Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed with Norman Soul (“we”, “us”, “our”) for the purchase of alcoholic beverages through our website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

All inventory is stored and dispatched from London City Bond – Thurrock, RM20 3FB.

 

2. Age Restriction

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase alcohol from us.

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally permitted to buy alcohol in England & Wales.

  • We operate Challenge 25 procedures at delivery. Couriers may request proof of age.

We sell and ship exclusively within England & Wales.

 

3. Placing an Order

  • Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

  • Prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery charges, which are shown at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (e.g., incorrect pricing, stock errors, age-verification failure).

 

4. Storage & Fulfilment

All products are kept in a secure bonded facility:

London City Bond – Thurrock
1 Barclay Way, Grays RM20 3FB

Dispatch times may vary depending on warehouse processing.

 

5. Delivery

  • Delivery is available only within England & Wales.

  • A person aged 18+ must be present to receive the order.

  • If age verification fails or no eligible person is present, the order will be returned, and additional delivery charges may apply.

  • Risk of damage or loss passes to you once the delivery is completed.

 

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a refund or replacement:

  1. Email us at contact@normansoul.com with your order number.

  2. Provide clear photographs of the damaged/incorrect goods and packaging.

  3. Keep all packaging materials until the case is resolved.

We will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A replacement (subject to availability)

  • A refund to your original payment method

Refunds are processed within 14 days after the issue is confirmed.

 

7. Returns (Non-Damaged Items)

Due to the nature of alcoholic products, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Unwanted items

  • Opened bottles

  • Products damaged after delivery due to improper handling

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

8. Cancellations

Under UK consumer law, you may cancel your order before the order has been dispatched.
Once dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible unless covered under our damaged/incorrect goods policy.

 

9. Prices & Payment

  • All prices on our website are in GBP (£).

  • We accept payments through our secure online payment system.

  • We reserve the right to update prices at any time before checkout.

 

10. Product Information

We aim to ensure all product descriptions, images, and details are accurate.
However, natural products such as spirits may vary slightly in colour, flavour, or packaging due to batch differences.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by couriers

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or absence of an adult recipient

  • Any indirect or consequential loss

Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the order placed.

 

12. Privacy & Data Protection

We process your data in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
We use your information only to fulfill orders and manage your account.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
